Homegroups are a smaller gathering to provide a safe space to journey and question, whether the Christian faith is new or a long standing commitment. All our housegroup conversations are confidential. The members meet on a regular basis to study God’s Word and think about how to apply it in day-to-day life. House groups offer support, companionship, encouragement and a deeper knowledge of Jesus.
We have a variety of different home groups run by members of the church. If you’re interested in joining one, please come on a Sunday and talk with any of the church members.
Thursday Homegroup
Our friendly homegroup meets on a Thursday evening in Quainton or Aylesbury. We love meeting and catching up on family matters and life events from the past week. We read from the Bible, then discuss how it can be applied to our lives today. Our priority is supporting each other in prayer and anything mentioned is confidential so it’s a very secure envionment.
We always finish with tea and biscuits, what more could you want from a home group? Please talk to one of us or Gill Groves, home group coordinator. if you would like to know more.
Ladies Tuesdays
Our homegroup is a ladies homegroup, which meets weekly on a Tuesday evening in varying locations – Tring, Aston Clinton or Aylesbury – to support each other and spend time in the presence of our Lord through Bible study, prayer and encouragement. We would welcome other ladies joining our group, so if you would like to know more, please speak to one of us or to Gill Groves, the homegroup coordinator.
Tuesday Homegroup
We are a group of 9 people who meet twice a month on Tuesday evenings in Aston Clinton for an hour and half. In that time we pray, study the bible and laugh together. It’s a great way of deepening ties among ourselves as we navigate the ups and downs of life. We want to grow individually and as a group and can foresee a time when we will divide in order to achieve that growth. Currently we are digging deeper into the teaching of Ephesians for our summer programme.
Saturday Homegroup
We are a group of 6 meeting on an occasional basis usually in Aston Clinton over a meal when childcare and work commitments allow. We are aiming to deepen relationship between ourselves to become a supportive forum for busy Christan parents.
Pitstone Homegroup
The Pitstone Home Group is a small group of 6 people. We meet monthly in the mornings from 10.15 to 11.45 on the 2nd Tuesday of each month at the home of 2 members in Pitstone. We meet to enjoy each others company and share any news and to study the Bible, to pray for ourselves and others in the church community. We encourage each other in our faith.
Wednesday Homegroup
The Wednesday morning home group meets on alternate Wednesdays, when we spend time supporting and praying for each other . We also use WhatsApp for urgent prayers, and sharing the results of answered prayers. Our time together includes Bible study , when we help each other gain more understanding of how we can apply Gods word to our lives. We recently welcomed 2 new members to our group , and have enjoyed their contributions.
